Why are you replacing my debit card?

We are replacing your Kadmos debit card to make your financial experience even better. The new Kadmos debit card will help you have even more control over your money with improved features, higher security and additional ways to make payments.

What will happen to my old Kadmos debit card?

Your current debit card will be deactivated on 15.03.2023, 23:59:59 GMT (“Cut-off Time“).

Any attempts to use the card after the “Cutoff Time” on 15.03.2023, 23:59:59 GMT, will result in the rejection of your intended transaction.

Please note that your rights to claim Chargeback, Dispute or Refund will be handled until 180 days after the last transaction performed by you with the old card.

What should I do with my old debit card?

Once you receive and activate the new card, you should get rid of your old card. To do so, please destroy it first. To destroy it, please cut it with a strong pair of scissors, making sure your data, signature, CVV (security code) and CHIP are cut into very small pieces.

You should avoid throwing your card away before destroying it, as someone could find it and commit identity fraud. Even if they will not be able to use the card, they could use your personal information for other illicit purposes. So don’t forget to destroy it!

How can I activate my new debit card?

When you receive your new Kadmos debit card, you can activate it by following the steps indicated in the new card envelope. Afterwards Kadmos mobile app will guide you through each step. It will be very easy, just like the first time you activated your card.

‍Please remember to update your Kadmos mobile app to the latest version before activating the new card. You can easily do so in your app store.

What should I do once I activate my card in-app?

After you have successfully activated your new Kadmos debit card, you'll need to make a first card transaction using Chip and PIN. Please insert your card in the terminal (POS) or ATM and enter your PIN. Once you complete this first physical card transaction, online purchases and contactless payments will be available too.

Will my money be safe in my account even without a debit card?

Even without a debit card, the money in your digital wallet is completely safe - no losses at all. That’s because your money is in your Kadmos mobile wallet, and not in your physical debit card.

What can I do without a debit card?

Without your debit card, you still have full control over your money and can make bank transfers to your loved ones. The only difference is that you will not be able to make cash withdrawals without a debit card. Therefore, to avoid any potential inconveniences, we advise you to withdraw extra cash from ATMs before the Cut-off time on 15.03.2023, 23:59:59 GMT.

Will I still be able to see my old card transaction history?

Yes, your Kadmos mobile app will continue working as usual so you will still be able to see your old card transaction history.
